James Renner

James Renner graduated from Kent State's writing program in 2000. His short fiction has appeared in Lighthouse Magazine and Lunar Harvest. He has written over 30 articles for Cleveland Scene Magazine and the Cleveland Free Times, some of which have won awards from the Cleveland Society of Professional Journalists and the Press Club of Cleveland. Recently, he adapted a Stephen King story into a short movie, which was an official selection at the 2005 Montreal World Film Festival. He currently writes for the Free Times. Renner lives in Akron with his wife, Julie.
