Flash back to the early days of local TV with fun stories featuring pioneering entertainers such as Ghoulardi, Barnaby, Woodrow the Woodsman, Miss Barbara, Uncle Jake and Franz the Toymaker. Veteran Cleveland radio and television personality Mike Olszewski and award winning producer Dan O’Shannon are here to help you experience a true night of nostalgia with these TV tales and more! They will also be showing segments of their upcoming documentary about Cleveland kids show hosts with previously unseen footage of Captain Penny, Barnaby, and Woodrow and the earliest known footage of Cleveland TV shot on set in color.
Event is FREE and open to the public. Part of the Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties series. Dinner is available (optional). Reservations are available. Doors open at 5 p.m. Talk starts at 7 p.m.
